Friends, there are so many great things in the shop right now....it's giving me the fashion sweats!
Always a great find no matter where you are, from never-fails-to-be-awesome Canadian brand Soia & Kyo. This jacket is leather. And it's red. It's a red leather Soia & Kyo jacket!!
Soia & Kyo jacket; Size XS, $125
How amazing and unique are these boots?! Saddle shoe meets city cowboy booty in a patent leather coffee shop!
Boots, S7.5, $40
I could not get a fix on origins, but these beauties are leather soled, which signals to me quality of design and mastery:
Named after feminist, writer and activist Alexandra Kollontaï, the brand Kollontaï is lovingly designed and manufactured in Montréal.
Kollonta dress; Size M, $46
And check out the cute key-hole back with enamel snap!
I love, love, LOVE the teeny anchor and hook on this chain!
Anchor & Hook chain, $30
Keep it long, or double it around and wear it with your Nirvana tee:
Let's have another silk party! Starting with this gorgeous zip-front dress from Anthropologie:
Maeve dress; Size 0, $42
These beautiful and super comfy silk pants from Italy:
Polita pants (NWT); Size S, $38
And from the east coast, this lovely silk top:
Maple top; Size S, $28
I should warn you that I'm going to have a big geek-out about these pendant watches. So many details to explore! Each of these pendants have a unique modern detail which keeps them from looking too costumey: the smaller pendant has the leaf on its chain, and the larger one has a Dali-esque "Persistence of Memory" charm:
Small pendant, $18; Large pendant, $20
Little details!
And, yes, they do this:
Ta-dah!
This Oak+Fort top has the perfect drape:
Oak + Fort top; Size M, $28
This Australian dress has pockets!
Lovelygirl dress; Size M, $28
From ModCloth fave, Chelsea Crew:
Chelsea Crew shoes; S6.5, $18
At first I was drawn to this dress because of its elegant, yet funky, colours and alluring full skirt.....
Apt 9 dress; Size L, $34
...then I saw that the square detailing on the neckline and hem are actually little laser cuts!
What is happening on this FCUK shirt?
Oh, just THIS!!
Awwwwwww!
This weekend is the Curatives Summer Market at Prince of Wales Armouries, friends! Lots of our favourite makers will be there along with others to discover and support. Saturday is also World Wide Knit in Public Day! (Although for me, Knit In Public Day is every day! Ha!)
Special thanks to The Tall Guy last Sunday who helped me water our hanging flower basket. This weekend I will be at Red Pony on Saturday AND Sunday, so come by and say hi, help me water the flowers and tell me all about the Curatives market while we knit!
