This helpful vintage bag has been well used and well loved in it’s 40+ years!
This is an authentic Louis Vuitton Speedy bag, made in France (c. Feb. 1988) and has the iconic monogramed leather exterior and roomy main compartment.
This bag has been loving repaired many times:
The original zipper has been replaced
The interior zippered pouch has been removed (shared a seam with the exterior zipper and was probably taken out when the zipper was repaired)
The little lock that went on the original zipper is also missing
Interior lining has lots of wear
There are a few cracks where the leather settles in it’s folds, but these have also been repaired on the inside
Wear on some of the corners
Wear on the handles
Although this stalwart bag has many war wounds, it is still an absolute classic and, as Audrey Hepburn can attest, VERY USEFUL. (This bag comes from one of our most beloved and long-time customers; good vibes included!)
