This Cinder+Smoke dress got lots of love on our Instagram this week (thanks Laura!), so let's have a look at it again!
Check out the great key-hole back, and the contrasting green button!
(Want more Cinder+Smoke? Jana be at The Royal Bison Art & Craft fair this weekend along with many other great local makers!)
This Anthropologie dress has a stretchy panel in the back, which along with jersey fabric signalled to me it was a casual dress, but once I put it on the mannequin I totally got it!
These striking and geometrically perfect Jeffrey Campbells:
Hurray! Stellar Canadian brand (and Red Pony fave!) Soia & Kyo is in the shop!
So there I am taking pics for the blog, when Red Pony friends Caroline and Sara popped in....so of course I forced them to stand outside in the -30 temp and model some coats (including the Soia & Kyo)!
Time for some OAK+FORTxNoul+Loft/82=Canadian indie fashion goodness! You should wear this crop top with some wide legged, high waist pants:
This mesh sweater from our friends down the street at Noul has silver threading throughout:
Vintage inspired denim a-line skirt from Aritzia:
OK friends, and friends-of-friends who live in Saskatoon where El Naturalistas are the favourite status-boot of the Mean Girls Book Club, we have another awesome pair of El Naturalista boots in the shop! El Naturalista is super transparent about their manufacturing process, and are strongly committed to ecological betterment. They have a whole line of vegan boots, but I just can't tell if these are vegan or leather! I guess that's a testament to El Naturalista's great designing!
And check out the little ties in the back!
This tunic is clearly from the future:
Isn't this sequined top perfect for the holidays?!
I love the scoop-back too!
One more amazing top from Noul. The long sleeves nicely balance out that front opening....
...but even more stunning is the unexpected opening in the back!
From our other friends down the street at Workhall are these lovely purple pants (NWT!) and, why not, sequined leggings!
Although this looks like the traditional Ralph Lauren crested blazer, it's actually fleece!
If I understand my Ralph Lauren bullion crests (as we all do!), this is an "equestrian" blazer, featuring the signature crown, mallet and stirrup crest:
Do you know where I can find a scarf?
Like a big hug from your best-friend in town for the holidays: a simple, black Nokomis tunic.
You are always in our hearts, Nokomis!
Special thanks to Sara and Caroline! Like true professionals we practised the poses before heading outside:
Hey, on your way back from Royal Bison be sure to stop into Red Pony for our coat sale this weekend!
