Friends, I want you to hear it from me first….and then I’ll probably forget (because these days, memory, yikes…what was I saying?) and then you can be the first to tell me: we’re putting Red Pony on the market.
Now let’s just STAY CALM, maybe grab a handful of chocolate chips and/or/AND the yummy party-mix from Bulk Barn and I’ll explain: something something business, it’s time to pass the torch on to someone who actually knows what they are doing!
Here’s the Normal-People things that actually had nothing to do with this choice for me: I don’t have to step back for “health issues”, I don’t want to “spend more time with my family” (lol), the business is not in trouble; unfortunately for me, it’s going REALLY WELL (thanks to you, friends!) and I am just too lazy and, um, not really qualified to run a ~successful~ business! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
Now, friends, you don’t have to worry, I love Red Pony sooooooo much that I am not just selling it to just anyone, I will only sell it to someone who GETS US. Seriously, it’ll be harder to buy Red Pony than it is to adopt a rescue dog!! Ha!
Anyways, the next move for me and you, friends, is to pretend this never happened. Nothing has changed, everything is moving forward as usual, Red Pony is still your happy place!
Special note to consignors: don’t worry! You are the core of the business! That super interesting contract that you definitely did read before consigning and then that I re-enacted during your appointment in, if you were lucky, a funny accent or interpretive dance, is just my love language…and proof that I don’t mess with you and I take our partnership very seriously. It’s business as usual for your account, nothing is changing.
Thanks for reading to the end, friends!
